Made the headlining image of Vacaville's "The Reporter" newspaper

My photo from here, from this morning, was featured on an article from Vacaville, CA's "The Reporter"

Annual Dixon parade precedes a beautiful day at the May Fair

They also featured, in the gallery, my prize winning shot of Reif's Antique Gas Station

SO cool to be given an honorable mention and have my photos featured in another newspaper!

Front page of the Dixon Independent Voice

The week of March 18-22 my photo made the front page of the Dixon Independent newspaper

Apparently 2 idiots were making drugs in this RV and it blew up in their face. 2 dead, 2 injured in the aftermath. Here's the story on KCRA.com

2 killed, 2 injured in early-morning RV fire in Dixon

Feels AMAZING to have MY PHOTO in an established newspaper!

At rest

We recently put my late neighbor, Air Force veteran Doug Ford, to rest in the Sacramento Valley Veteran's Memorial Cemetery. Was a somber day. We later visited with people at his house and celebrated his life

A loss

Sadly, on Valentine's day, I lost my neighbor, here in Dixon, CA of 30+  years Doug Ford due to Cancer. He was 85. I didn't agree with him, politically, but he was certainly a nice man who watched me grow up from 1986 (when I moved to Dixon) onward. He was like a 2nd grandpa to me (my grandpa passed in 2004). Being a retired war vet aviator that he was, he had quite the vast collection of RC planes in his backyard

I imagine they'll go to good homes in the foreseeable future to some good RC plane enthusiasts. Doug is survived by his 3 children, from left to right, Lisa, James, and Andrea
